Choose what type of garden you would like to plant and we provide everything you need! Select from a Salsa Garden, Herb Garden, Flower Garden, or Family Garden and you will on your way to a bountiful harvest.

Fall/Winter 2024 Event Ideas


Barn Dance
As upgrades and improvements continue on the property, our hope is to host a Barn Dance in the historic barn located on the property

Fall Craft Show
Come enjoy a fall day on the park grounds and shop many unique, handmade items made by local artists and artisans.

Tractor Pull

Tractor pulling has been around for many years and is one of the most powerful, competitive and entertaining motorsports. We are bringing it back to the park this fall!

Group tours of the Noden Reed Museum are offered  by appointment. Donations gratefully accepted.

Recent News: 2024

GREENHOUSE RENOVATION
 

Building on our History - The Windsor Locks Historical Society is the recipient of ARPA grant funds to restore the Noden Reed greenhouse. The renovation began in the spring of 2023 and is currently 99% complete. Members held a "soft opening" on December 3, during the Society's Victorian Christmas Celebration.
 

Building Community - The Historical Society Greenhouse Committee is collaborating with the Senior Center to provide seedling starters for the Center's newly created patio garden as well as providing fresh veggies and plants for the town food pantry.
